Dr. Kumara Swamy is an Advisor & Clinical Scientist in Radiation Oncology with over 45 years of experience. His career includes teaching, departmental leadership and consultant roles across cancer care institutions in India. He completed his DMRT at Bangalore Medical College in 1981, followed by an MD in Radiotherapy in 1983 and DNB (RT) in 2000. His professional experience includes positions at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Curie Center of Oncology, Ruby Hall Clinic Cancer Center, HCG and Aster CMI. His international training encompasses brachytherapy, conformal radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy, image guided radiotherapy, stereotactic radiation techniques and TomoTherapy. He has also served as a National Cancer Registry Project panel member and contributed to publications on survival outcomes for common cancers in India.
